📰 Studio Update — What’s Next for Pixel Master
Hello everyone 👋
It’s been a while since the last update, and it’s time to share what’s happening with Pixel Master and what’s coming next for the studio.
🎯 About Pixel Master
After several months of development and testing, I’ve decided to pause Pixel Master’s development for now.
The idea behind the game, an asymmetric 1v11 multiplayer survival experience, is still something I’m proud of, but I realized it might not be the best fit as the studio’s first project.
A few reasons led to this decision:

The game requires at least two players to function properly, which made testing and promotion challenging.

It relied on Unity Gaming Services, which adds maintenance and hosting costs.

The direct IP connection system in the public build wasn’t ideal for accessibility or security.

And overall, Pixel Master didn’t reach enough visibility yet to sustain regular playtesting.
In short: a great concept, but not the right timing.
The project is on hold, not cancelled, and might return later with a fresh perspective once the studio has grown a bit more.

🔧 What’s Next
In the meantime, I’m starting work on a new project, built with Godot Engine.
This next game will be single-player focused at first, and more manageable for a solo developer balancing a full-time job.
Over the past few months, I’ve been learning sound design, improving my game design skills, and experimenting with survival gameplay and multiplayer systems in Godot.
🌱 A New Beginning
Now that the studio’s foundations are clearer, I’ve started working on something new, a survival project that’s bigger in scope, but designed to grow naturally over time.
It will begin as a solo experience, evolving step by step as development progresses.
Right now, it’s still early, and I don’t want to reveal too much, but I’m genuinely excited about where it’s heading.
A new journey for me, and for Piksel Game Studio.
